Creation-Based Science vs. Evolution-Based Scientism

February 8, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

A Co-Sponsored event by the Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation and St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church

In his presentation  "Creation-Based Science vs. Evolution-Based Scientism," Mr. Owen will show how the Catholic Church through her theology of creation gave the world the ideal framework within which to do scientific and medical research.  He will then show how the abandonment of the traditional Catholic doctrine of creation for the framework of molecules-to-man evolution has had disastrous consequences for scientific and medical research, including making this research serve the agenda of the global anti-culture of death.  Finally, he will show why Catholics should work to restore the traditional doctrine of creation and that a golden age of scientific and medical research will result when that fundamental doctrine is restored.  The work of the Kolbe Center has been endorsed by many traditional Catholic leaders including Bishop Athanasius Schneider who wrote, "May the work of the Kolbe Center be widespread and help to free the people of our days from the greatest myth of modern times."
