Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved in defending the traditional Catholic doctrine of creation, the foundation of the Gospel:

1) Pray and sacrifice for the work of the Kolbe Center.

Pray and sacrifice for the work of the Kolbe Center, and ask others to do the same-especially contemplative religious communities who devote themselves to prayer and sacrifice.

2) Organize a Kolbe seminar in your area.

Many Kolbe members have organized Kolbe seminars at local schools, parishes, or retreat centers. Contact us for information on how to approach your pastor or school principal for permission to organize a successful seminar. We will provide you with all of the information you need to propose, plan, and carry out a life-changing Catholic creation seminar.

3) Place Kolbe publications in Catholic book stores and libraries.

The Kolbe Center has published several books at various levels of difficulty defending the traditional Catholic interpretation of Genesis 1-11. Help to educate other Catholics by placing our publications in Catholic book stores and libraries. Book stores and libraries interested in a scholarly treatment of origins from a Catholic perspective should be encouraged to purchase Fr. Victor Warkulwiz's The Doctrines of Genesis 1-11 or St. Lawrence of Brindisi's Commentary on Genesis 1-3. Introductory books for Catholics on origins include Special Creation Rediscovered by Gerard Keane and A Bird in Hand, by Olivia McFadden, all of which are available from our web store.

4) Invite other websites to link to the Kolbe Center website.

Invite other websites to link to the Kolbe Center, especially websites that appeal to Catholics.

5) Write letters to the editor.

Write letters to the editors of Catholic or secular papers, magazines or websites, defending the traditional Catholic interpretation of Genesis 1-11 and demanding a balanced treatment of origins in Catholic schools, colleges, and newspapers.

  1. I would like some information on how to work with the Kolbe Center. I am not Roman Catholic (I am Anglican Catholic) but am a staunch creationist and want to teach and disciple others. I am also a graduate student at Franciscan University of Steubenville, where I am a Catechetics major. I am really impressed with the material you have on this page, and am hungry for more. Be assured you are in my prayers, and we who believe in the literal account of Biblical Creation need to support each other. God bless.
